Ceramics Area

In this ceramics area, there are seven tables and twenty-seven pottery wheels, including one
handi-cap accessible wheel. This area also divides into three other smaller rooms which comprimises of a damp room, glazing and kiln room. Additionally, there are many tools and materials to use, including a slab roller and an extruder. Overall there are three electric kilns, a gas reduction kiln, a salt fire kiln and a raku kiln, with an ample shelf room for students to keep their pottery on.
Advanced Ceramics Room

This area is smaller than the main cermamics room, this area for advanced students and is more spacious and quieter. There are three tables and eight wheels, including one kick wheel. There are glazes and tools offered in this room as well, and personal shelving for students to store their pottery.
Drawing & Painting Area

The drawing and painting area supplies a wide variety of materials and tools ready for use. Studio has lots of natural northern lighting, ample easels and taborets, with a large still life area. Also, live model available for specific drawing and painting classes. Lectures utilize high technology and instructional methodologies, as well as a library of materials in room. Three-dimensional printing is also available for use and as an additional recourses. The atmosphere of the room provides music and an area to serve yourself coffee when you need a break.
Inver Hills Art Gallery

The Fine Arts Gallery is located in the atrium of the Fine Arts Building. It has a variety of programming; hosting six exhibitions, two art sales, as well as a variety of multidisciplinary exhibits and events per academic year. Exhibitions includes work made by; students, faculty, as well as regional and national artists. Art sales are fundraisers that create art scholarships for students pursuing art. Gallery also coordinates offerings with the music and theater department, The Center for Equity and Inclusion, and student clubs on campus.
Digital Photography Lab
[FA 140]
The lab has 28 Macintosh computers of the newest version. The lab is designed to help students advance in their photography skills, but also caters to 2D design and music composition courses. Lab offers a wide selection of current version software such as; Adobe Creative Suite, Sibelius, Microsoft Office, Finale, Garage Band, & iMovie.
Sculpture & Glass Lab
Sculpture lab accommodates woodworking, plaster work, glass fusing, and stained glass. Tools are readily available, and open lab hours allow students to work outside of class. There are a variety of different saws including a compound miter saw, band saw, table saw, and panel saw, as well, there is one oscillating spindle sander and one disc sander. There also is a wide variety of hand and power tools for working with mixed media such as wood, plaster, clay, glass, wire, cardboard and more. A plaster room also accommodates the sculpture lab.
